What?

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce was a client of Bluestone Communications, where I served as a Creative Account Liason. One initial goal for the client was to clear up any confusion and misunderstanding regarding what the Chamber is and how they operate. Their social media accounts were not obtaining high engagement rates or explaining who they were/what services they provide as an organization.

The Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit community organization. The Chamber exists to connect area businesses into a powerful network through leadership and advocacy.

Who?

Create a Brand Guideline for HRCC to develop a brand identity and more effective social media content.

Big Idea:

Key Insights:

After performing a social media audit, we found...

No consistency of design throughout social media content

No content on social media explaining who the chamber is and what their primary goals are

Low

engagement rates,

no interactive

elements

With the Brand Guideline, we were able to give the clients the tools to create more effective social media content for the future. Within working with the client for four months, the engagement of their Instagram rose 13%. We also created a social media content calendar for the organization to use in the future, as well as created interactive hashtags to showcase who the chamber is as well as spotlight local businesses who are a part of the chamber
