Tongo Logo Creation and Brand Guideline

What?

Tongo is a plush toy made for children who struggle with sensory issues. The toy was designed to provide comfort and creativity to children. While using the toy, children can wrap themselves with it and inhabit it, as well as weave and build structures with it.  This brand-new toy aims to enter the market to eventually have a spot in hospitals and occupational therapists' offices to be able to help children.

Founder, Julianne Pullella, is an industrial design major at JMU and started Tonga in 2022. She is involved in JMU's Gilliam Center for Entrepreneurship and won the 2022 Techstars competition and accelerator program, which is a global competition that helps young entrepreneurs with investments and launching new products. 

Who?

With Julianne launching her new product, we created a logo and brand guideline for Tonga to develop a brand identity for the company and for future branding implementations and extensions. 

Big Idea:
